Cape Cod Family Charters is a locally-owned family business offering fun days on the waters off Barnstable, Massachusetts. Captain Bob Betti has been fishing the Cape Cod area for over 40 years, and is a licensed captain by the US Coast Guard.

The Escape holds up to 6 people comfortably and is available for 4, 5, 6, 8 hour trips. Facilities available.

Fishing Charter FAQ

What are your charter fishing rates & payment options?

  • 4 hour trip $800
  • 5 hour trip $875
  • 6 hour trip $950
  • Plus a tip for the mate.

Full payment is due before leaving the dock. Mastercard and Visa accepted. Due to fuel price fluctuations prices are subject to change. Price subject to change. We reserve the right to refuse service.

How many people can we bring?

The Escape holds up to six people comfortably.

How long will the day be?

You can choose either a 4, 5, or 6 hour trip. Spin or Fly trips are available on an hourly basis, with a minimum of 4 hours.

Where will we travel to exactly?

Enjoy fishing the flats of Barnstable Harbor on Cape Cod Bay

What kinds of fish can we expect to catch!?

Striped Bass, Bluefish, Tuna and Cod.

What should we bring with us?

  • Food and drink (unless you make prior arrangements with the Captain). No glass
  • Rain gear
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Cameras
  • Life jackets for infants (must be Coast Guard approved)
  • Soft-soled shoes
  • Cooler for your fish

What will you guys handle for us?

All gear is provided and your fish will be cleaned, bagged and prepared ready for you to take home.

Are there bathrooms on board?

Yes, facilities are available on both of our boats. 

What is the policy around tipping/gratuity?

Please note that the mate works for tips, customary 20%, for a job well done.

Deposit Refunds

Please be aware that deposits are only refundable if the trip is cancelled at a minimum of 5 days prior to your scheduled trip.
